   Synth dreads

Synthetic dreads are created using synthetic hair attached as extensions to the natural hair to create custom dreadlocks in any colors, any lengths, and any sizes. Your hair must be at least 2 inches to attach to. Synth dreads can be worn on an ongoing basis with tightening every 2 - 4 months. Synthetic dreads can be installed and removed easily and cause no damage or change to your natural hair. This is a great way to grow out your hair or start permanent dreads.

   Dreadperm

A dreadperm is the best way to start natural permanent dreadlocks without the use of beeswax, honey or glues. A comb and hands are used to create dread shapes in the hair, then they are permanently "permed" with a chemical solution. When finished, you will have beautiful, well-formed, firm, clean dreads without the wait and hassles of heavy waxing. The process takes about 4 hours and your hair must be at least 6 inches long. Dreadperms are easy to keep clean, healthy, and beautiful. The hair will continue to grow and dread on its own. However, I do recommend getting a dread maintenance every 2 - 4 months to ensure that the dreads only get better with time.

   Dread maintenance

Dread maintenance is good for dreadperms or natural dreads. I offer any necessary dread repair and/or reattachment of fallen dreads. Normal dread maintenance consists of going through and separating any dreads that have started to grow together. Gather the loose hairs and secure the base of the dread. This allows dreads to start dreading faster at the base and assist in creating a more uniformed look over time and a cleaner look instantly. Maintenance every 2-4 months is recommended, but even 1-2 times a year is helpful. This process highly benefits the scalp. we all know a healthy and happy scalp means healthy and happy dreads.

.::extensions

   Synth extensions

Synthetic hair extensions can be added for length, thickness or color. Synth hair colors never fade and come in straight texture only. Natural hair must be at least 2-3 inches long to attach. Tightened every 2-3 months, Synth hair can be worn for a long time. With proper care the hair can be used multiple times. A great way to experiment with hair extensions. No damage and no slippage with my technique. Any haircut can be enhanced with some streaks.

   Human hair extensions

Using the highest quality human hair, I can add length or volume to your own hair. I can perfectly match the color and texture of your hair. No one would ever know you are wearing extensions. Extensions can be worn ongoing for a long time, with tightening every 2-3 months. We can reuse the hair over and over. Natural hair must be at least 2-3 inches long to attach. There is no damage and no slippage with my technique. You can style, color and maintain your extensions just as you would your own natural hair. Extensions are comfortable to wear and easy to remove or tighten. No glue, no machines, no silly gimmicks. next best thing to the real thing.

.::braids

   Braids

A beautiful, low maintenance hairstyle you can wear for about three to four months. Synthetic Braids are secure without slippage or damage done to your own hair. No burning ends or rubber bands are ever used to create the braids. Braids are created with synthetic hair and can be done in any colour, any size, any length. Natural hair must be 2-3 inches to attach braids.

"He who cannot give anything away cannot feel anything either."
-- Friedrich Nietzsche
i do it for the joy it brings
    because i'm a joyful girl
because the world owes me nothing
and we owe each other the world
i do it because it's the least i can do
i do it because i learned it from you
and i do it just because i want to
    because i want to

YOU WEREN'T THERE
(Sullivan)

Well, you say it's such a small, small world
flying Club class back from the far-east
curled up safe and warm in the big chair
you were drifting through the skies of anywhere
Get the courtesy car to the Sheraton
there's live on-the-spot reports on the CNN between the ad-breaks
so you think you know what's going on - but you don't
because you weren't in Belfast, no you weren't there
and no you weren't in Waco, no you weren't there
and you weren't in Kosovo, you weren't there
and you weren't in my head so you don't know how it felt
walking arm in arm with crowds to the square
and the banners waving and the sun glinting

All this information swims round and round
like a shoal of fish in a tank going nowhere
Up and down between the glass walls
You're so safe in the knowledge they're impenetrable
and you look out at the world and see nothing at all
so go back to sleep and you'll be woken when the time comes
and you'll never know just what hit you or where it came from
because you weren't in Bradford, no you weren't there
and you weren't on the hill, no you weren't there
and you weren't with us so you never saw
just what happened when the television crews came knocking on the door
how the people told them all to go to Hell,
smashed the cameras and sent them away
There were sirens going off and policemen coming in
and all that you love was being swept away
in the rush of a black tide all done in your name
and you'll never know just what happened there
or how it feels - just how it feels . . .
